The history of jabardasth is short and very inspiring to the point of its success. It all began as small show but has grown to attract many viewers as seen in the 2016 and 2017 statistics. Rated with 5 stars among the related shows it broadcast on ETV channel in India.
The show first went live in 2013 and has gained a steady popularity to date. It has become popular following the natural jokes and informative scripts being acted.
It also features popular Telugu film actor Babu and actress Roja who are the major judges in the comedy show. The film was based on a simple concept of completion between six teams on the comedy line and later but was reduced to five teams.
The show appears once every week and the completion is majorly in the comedy skits. The teams are then rated and scored by judges who rate them out of ten points and gets the winner. There is a set prize for the winner once the winner is announced which is normally set at 10000 rupees and presented as a cash prize.
The skit that emerges top is then used to design the next poster for the following week. Before team leaders were also engaged to tell jokes and a reward set for them but it has been changed of late.
