One of the longest-running soap opera in the Telugu language is Manasu Mamatha, aired on ETV every day. The plot of the serial is about two best friends who grow up in contrast economic statuses fall in love with the same guy. After a series of dramatic collisions and colorful flirtations, the poor girl wins the race by getting the guy to marry him. The other friend who is rich, and arrogant by nature, is consumed by a terrifying amount of jealousy tries to sabotage the other friend’s life.
Exploring the basic of human emotions like anger, jealousy, love, and happiness, the story slowly but steadily crept up into the audience’s mind capturing their senses one after the other. The audience who are hooked up to the story now is totally consumed by it laughing and crying along with the characters.
