Manasu Mamatha 9th June Episode Review

The episode started with Ganga’s family depressed because Ganga went missing. Ganga’s father, mother, and brother stay in tears while the daughter in law, Suguna asks them to come and eat. Everybody expresses their misery because of the missing daughter and they show reluctance to eat. Suguna tries to lift their spirits that Ganga will be found and tells them that Arjun who is in the department will put in extra effort to find her.

Ganga’s father who is deep pain expresses his inner feelings that he didn’t care enough for her when she was little and that is why he is being punished now. Suguna consoles everyone by telling them that no matter where she is, she will be safe. 

Meanwhile, Ganga wakes up from a feverish sleep completely recovered when her daughter (Chinnu) comes up to her asking her how she is feeling. Chinnu tells Ganga that she will bring her breakfast and goes to her father (Kalyan) and tells him that Ganga woke up. The maid comes in and tells him that the kid stood awake all night taking care of her mother. The father expresses his concern that she (Chinnu) is developing a bond with Ganga and that Ganga might leave them after a while. 

Upon being asked why would she (Ganga), leave them, Kalyan tells Chinnu that Ganga’s parents will be searching for her and when they find her, they will be taking her along. He also tells her and the maid that even if Ganga is showing love, it is not right for them to expect that she stays on taking care of the daughter.

Chinnu takes breakfast for Ganga and asks her if she would leave if someone comes looking for her (Ganga). To which Ganga replies that she won’t leave her under any circumstances. Kalyan’s mother also expresses her concern that the daughter and Ganga are developing a deep bond that might hurt both of them. She starts reading the newspaper on which there is an ad of a Missing person with Ganga’s photo on it. 

The kid sees that and comes down tears that last paper out of her Grandmother’s hand and tells her that it happened by accident. The Grandmother leaves the place suspiciously and the kid throws the paper away after shredding it making sure that no one is watching her.

Ganga goes to school to pick up Chinnu. Chinnu is elated to see her at the school and asks if she would come every day to pick her up to which Ganga replies that she would. Upon getting in the car, both of them start having a conversation while the car stops at a Traffic Signal. Ganga’s brother who is an auto driver sees her exactly when the light goes green and starts following the car. He follows her to an extent and observing that Chinnu realizes that he might be someone that knows Ganga and instructs the driver to go faster. Ganga’s brother could not chase the car anymore and stops after it takes a turn. The episode ends with a grief mixed suspicion.
